Saudi Crown Prince Warns of Firm Response to Threats, Says Houthis Chose Chaos

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said the kingdom would not hesitate to respond firmly to any threat, accusing the Houthis of choosing chaos.

The crown prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive support for the Yemeni government through the coalition supporting its legitimacy.

He said that support was aimed at enabling the government to extend its authority across the whole country and restore stability.

Mohammed bin Salman also stressed the need to counter attacks by what he described as “terrorist Houthi militias,” linking Saudi support for Yemen’s government to efforts to confront those assaults.
