Talbiya district chief rules out demolitions for Al-Ikhlas road project

Engineer Hamed Salama, head of Talbiya district, has ruled out property demolitions or the displacement of residents to make way for the Al-Ikhlas road corridor.

Salama’s clarification addressed concerns that buildings could be removed and residents forced to leave their homes as part of the project.

The corridor will link the Marioutiya area with the Lieutenant General Kamal Amer axis, creating a connection between the two routes.

The district chief described the project as turning the area into a vital artery, while stressing that its implementation would not involve residential removals.
