Cairo Governor Says October War Heroes Embodied Egyptians’ Ability to Face Challenges

Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber attended a celebration marking the 53rd anniversary of the October War victory at the Rod El Farag Culture Palace.

Saber said the heroes of October embodied Egyptians’ ability to confront challenges, highlighting their example as the anniversary was commemorated.

Major General Omar Mahmoud El Shafei, Cairo’s deputy governor for the northern district, also attended the event.

The celebration brought the governor and his northern district deputy to the cultural venue to honour the anniversary and remember those who contributed to the victory.
