Illegal Advertisements on Public Roads Face Immediate Removal

Advertisements placed on public roads in violation of Egypt’s advertising law are subject to immediate removal under legislation governing roadside advertising.

Law No. 208 of 2020 sets out the framework for regulating advertisements on public roads, including conditions that must be met when placing them.

The legislation also establishes penalties for breaches of its provisions, making compliance with those conditions a requirement for roadside advertising.
