Mbappe Double Seals Clasico for Real Madrid and Denies Barcelona New Record

Kylian Mbappe scored twice to secure victory for Real Madrid in El Clasico, denying Barcelona a new record.

The French forward’s opening goal arrived in fortunate circumstances in the 41st minute, following an attempted clearance by Barcelona defender Gerard Martin.

Martin tried to clear the ball, but it struck Mbappe and went into the net. The goal was credited to the Real Madrid attacker.

Mbappe finished with a brace to settle the encounter in Madrid’s favour, leaving Barcelona without either the victory or the record they had been pursuing.
