Trump Threatens Iran With ‘Very Strong Strike’ if Role in Flydubai Plane Incident Is Confirmed

Trump warned that Iran would face a “very strong strike” if its involvement in an incident involving a Flydubai aircraft is established.

Speaking with reporters at the White House, he said he believed Iran was involved, while indicating that the matter was still being examined.

“I would say the answer is yes, based on what I’m hearing,” Trump said. “But we are working on this at this very moment.”

His remarks did not confirm Iranian responsibility or detail the information behind his assessment. The threatened strike was conditional on establishing Iran’s role in the incident.
