Sohag Distributes Sheep to 375 Families Most in Need

Sohag’s Veterinary Medicine Directorate has announced the distribution of pregnant sheep to 375 families among those most in need in villages around Sohag city.

The directorate, headed by Dr. Ahmed Hamdy, said more than 770 sheep had been handed over to beneficiaries since the beginning of October.

The distribution focused on households in rural communities within the Sohag city area, according to the announcement.

The sheep were identified as pregnant, meaning the livestock received by the families could grow as the animals give birth. No further details were provided on the selection of beneficiaries or plans for additional distributions.
