Suez Governor Lays Wreath at Unknown Soldier Memorial to Mark October Victory

Suez Governor Major General Hani Rashad laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as part of the governorate’s celebrations marking the anniversary of the October victory.

The ceremony took place at the Third Field Army headquarters in the Ajrud area of Suez.

The wreath-laying paid tribute to fallen soldiers, with the Unknown Soldier memorial serving as the setting for the governor’s commemoration.

Rashad’s visit formed part of Suez’s observance of the anniversary, which recalls Egypt’s military achievements in the October war.
