Inspection Teams Visit Zefta–El Mahalla Road to Launch Urgent Upgrades After Repeated Accidents

A delegation from Gharbia governorate, the roads directorate and civil society organisations inspected the Zefta–El Mahalla road to prepare for urgent development work following repeated accidents.

The road is one of the main transport routes within Gharbia, making its condition a key concern for travel across the governorate.

The visit brought local authorities and civil society representatives together for an on-site assessment ahead of the planned improvements.

The inspection was intended to pave the way for work to begin immediately. Details of the upgrades, their cost and a completion timetable were not provided.
