Egypt’s Awqaf Minister Announces Training for 1,000 Imams Within a Month

Egypt’s Minister of Awqaf, Osama Al-Azhari, has announced training for 1,000 imams within a month, with 100 hours of instruction aimed at developing their skills.

The minister opened two courses, “Foundations of Moderate Thought” and “Improving Linguistic Performance,” at Al-Fuqaha Mosque in Qalyubia governorate.

The mosque falls under the Shebin El-Qanater Awqaf administration, which oversees local religious endowment affairs.

The courses focus on moderate religious thought and language proficiency, bringing together two areas of professional development for imams.
