Bodies of Mother and Daughter Recovered From Nile in Qena

River rescue teams in Egypt’s Qena governorate have recovered the bodies of a mother and her daughter after they drowned in the Nile.

The drowning occurred near the village of Al-Karatiya, which lies in Qus district in the south of the governorate.

The mother was identified as a housewife. No names or ages were provided for either victim.
