Assiut Governor Says Business Licence Inspections Will Continue

Assiut Governor Major General Mohamed Alwan has confirmed that inspection and monitoring campaigns will continue at businesses across the governorate to review licences and check compliance with applicable requirements.

The campaigns cover public-facing businesses, restaurants, bakeries and kiosks in Assiut’s various cities and districts.

Inspectors are reviewing licences alongside the conditions businesses are required to meet, making the checks broader than a review of paperwork alone.

Alwan stressed that the inspections are ongoing. His statement did not detail specific violations or enforcement measures resulting from the campaigns.
