Ninth Damanhour Book Fair Opens With 22 Institutions and Major Publishers

The ninth edition of the Damanhour Book Fair opens today, bringing together 22 institutions and major publishing houses.

The 2026 fair is hosted by the Misr Public Library in Damanhour, which will serve as the venue throughout its 10-day run.

The participating institutions and publishers form the core of this year’s exhibition, giving visitors an opportunity to explore offerings from across the publishing sector.

With its opening today, the fair begins a new edition at the Damanhour library, placing books and publishing at the centre of the venue’s activities for the coming days.
