Sameh Shoukry Leads Egyptian Delegation at BRICS Parliamentary Forum in India

Sameh Shoukry, chairman of the Egyptian House of Representatives’ Foreign Relations Committee, led an Egyptian parliamentary delegation at the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in India.

Shoukry took part in the forum’s opening-day activities alongside fellow lawmakers Nevine El Tahri and Mirna Essam El Din.

During the forum, India’s prime minister conveyed his greetings to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The Egyptian delegation’s participation placed parliamentary engagement at the centre of its presence at the BRICS gathering, with Shoukry attending as both delegation leader and head of the chamber’s foreign relations committee.
