Ozil Criticizes FIFA Over Unequal Treatment of Russian and Israeli Clubs

Mesut Ozil has criticized FIFA over what he described as double standards, contrasting the exclusion of Russian clubs with the continued participation of Israeli teams.

The president of Basaksehir also challenged the disparity, joining Ozil in calling for all clubs to be treated equally.

Their criticism focused on the different treatment of teams from the two countries, questioning why Russian clubs remain excluded while their Israeli counterparts are allowed to compete.
