Van Dijk linked with Trabzonspor move amid prospect of Salah reunion

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has been linked with a possible move to Turkey’s Trabzonspor in the summer of 2027, raising the prospect of a reunion with former teammate Mohamed Salah.

Media reports have suggested the Dutch defender could be a target for the Turkish club. There has been no official confirmation that negotiations are taking place between the parties.

The potential Salah connection adds interest to the speculation, but the reports do not establish that the two players will be reunited.

For now, a transfer remains only a possibility. Any move by Van Dijk to Trabzonspor, and any reunion with Salah, would depend on developments that have yet to be confirmed.
