Trial Operations Begin at Suez Slaughterhouse Complex Costing EGP 71 Million

Manal Awad, Egypt’s minister of local development and environment, has announced the start of trial operations at the Suez public slaughterhouse complex.

Located in Suez governorate, the complex comprises three slaughterhouses and their associated facilities.

The total cost of the complex reached approximately EGP 71 million, according to the minister’s announcement.

The launch marks the start of the facility’s trial operating phase. The announcement did not specify when full operations would begin.
