Egypt’s Irrigation Minister Discusses Water Management and Climate Cooperation with IFAD

Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam met with Pieternel Boogaard of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to discuss strengthening cooperation on water management and adaptation to climate change.

The meeting took place during the ninth Cairo Water Week, bringing the minister and the fund’s representative together on the sidelines of the event.

Boogaard attended in her capacity as managing director of IFAD’s Office of Technical Delivery. The talks focused on closer cooperation between the ministry and the fund in the two areas.
