Egypt Offers Free Measles Vaccination for Children Aged 9 Months to 10 Years

Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed that measles vaccination is available free of charge for children aged nine months to 10 years.

The ministry stressed the importance of vaccinating children against both measles and rubella, describing immunisation as a key means of preventing the two diseases.

It also highlighted vaccination’s role in reducing the spread of infection within the community, extending its benefits beyond individual protection.

The message underscores the ministry’s emphasis on childhood vaccination as an essential preventive measure against measles and rubella.
