Social Solidarity Ministry Moves Homeless Elderly Man to Care Home in Alexandria

Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity has moved an elderly man without shelter to a care home in Alexandria following a report submitted through the government’s unified complaints system.

The ministry’s local rapid intervention team in Alexandria responded to the report, which was received through the system overseen by the Cabinet.

The response was carried out in line with directives from Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy.

The intervention secured a place for the man in residential care. No further details were provided about his condition or the care home receiving him.
