Leao Listed in Portugal’s No. 7 Shirt After Ronaldo Leaves Camp

Rafael Leao is listed to wear Portugal’s No. 7 shirt against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League following Cristiano Ronaldo’s sudden departure from the national team’s camp.

Squad information published on UEFA’s website showed Leao assigned the number usually worn by Ronaldo, who is absent from Portugal’s squad for the match.

The listing emerged a day after Ronaldo left the camp, putting the allocation of his familiar shirt number in the spotlight ahead of the Denmark fixture.
