Trump Offers Russia Help After Siberian Laboratory Incident

US President Donald Trump offered assistance to Russia after an incident at a laboratory in Siberia raised fears of a plague outbreak.

The US State Department also urged Russian authorities to share information “quickly and publicly,” calling for prompt disclosure as concerns emerged.

Trump’s offer signaled a willingness to help, but the information provided did not specify what form that assistance might take or whether Russia had accepted it.

The reported concerns did not establish that an outbreak had occurred. Details about the laboratory incident and any resulting health risks remained unclear.
