Paris Luxury Stores Board Up Ahead of Fresh Protests

Luxury stores in Paris are reinforcing their premises ahead of protests planned for Saturday, fearing a repeat of the looting that hit shops across France the previous weekend.

Retailers have covered their normally gleaming glass storefronts with boards and added security guards as they prepare for possible unrest.

Some stores also plan to remain closed, opting not to open their doors while the demonstrations take place.
