Mourinho Praises Players but Keeps Up Refereeing Jibes After Barcelona Win

Jose Mourinho praised his players after a 2-1 victory over Barcelona in El Clasico at Spotify Camp Nou, while continuing to take aim at Spanish refereeing.

The win gave Mourinho a result to celebrate on Barcelona’s home ground. His reaction included recognition for the players who delivered the victory.

But the favourable scoreline did not put an end to his jibes at the officiating, with Spanish refereeing remaining a target after the match.

Mourinho’s response combined satisfaction with his team’s performance and continued provocation over refereeing, keeping that issue in focus despite the Clasico success.
