Five Palestinians Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Building in Western Gaza City

An Israeli airstrike killed five Palestinians, including four women, when it hit the ground floor of the Al-Asala building in western Gaza City before dawn on Saturday.

The sudden strike left the targeted home in ruins. By daylight, the fire had burned down to ash, revealing the destruction left by the bombardment.

The account provided no further details about the victims’ identities or whether anyone else was wounded.

The scene underscored the danger facing residents inside their homes, where shelter offers no assurance of safety and surviving the night is no guarantee.
