Israeli Military Reports Widespread Raids and Arrests in West Bank

The Israeli military said it carried out simultaneous operations across the occupied West Bank over the weekend, arresting around 40 people.

The raids covered approximately 40 villages and 400 sites, according to the military’s account.

Among those detained were people the military said belonged to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The summary of its announcement did not specify how many detainees it linked to either group.

The reported figures point to a broad operation spanning numerous locations rather than a raid focused on a single area. No specific villages or sites were identified in the information provided.

Further details about the detainees, the circumstances of their arrests and the outcome of the searches were not included in the announcement summary.
