France Braces for Fresh Protests After Week of Violence

France is preparing for another day of large protests on Tuesday, following violent unrest last week.

Student representatives have called for demonstrations across the country, setting the stage for a renewed wave of mobilization.

Several major education unions have backed the call, urging their members to join the protests.

In some cases, unions have also called on members to strike, extending the planned action beyond street demonstrations.

The nationwide appeal comes as France awaits the next round of protests in the wake of last week’s violence.
