‘My moment will come’: Lamine Yamal responds to Ballon d’Or disappointment

Lamine Yamal has struck a confident tone after his Ballon d’Or disappointment, offering a brief message that looked beyond the setback: “My moment will come.”

The Barcelona and Spain star had been among the leading contenders for the award, with his performances putting him firmly in the spotlight.

Yamal helped lead Barcelona to the Spanish league title, a major achievement that strengthened his case for football’s top individual honour.

His response focused on the future rather than dwelling on the outcome. For Yamal, the message was clear: missing out this time has not shaken his belief that he can eventually claim the prize.
