Arab Scientists Open Space Week With Talks Ahead of Joint Saturn Observation

The Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences is bringing together 15 speakers for a scientific gathering to mark World Space Week, with discussions spanning a range of astronomy and space topics.

From rockets to Saturn, the programme links space science with the study of celestial objects, bringing the subjects into a shared Arab scientific forum.

The gathering will also serve as a lead-in to a coordinated Arab observation of Saturn planned for the end of next week.

That observation will give the week’s discussions a practical focus, shifting attention from the scientific exchange to a shared view of the ringed planet.
