Father Hanna Kaldani: Jordan Will Overcome Aftermath of Hamoud Church Attack

Father Hanna Kaldani has expressed confidence that Jordanians will overcome the repercussions of the armed attack on mourners attending a funeral at Hamoud Church in Karak governorate.

The attack killed seven people and injured 34 others, striking participants gathered inside the church for the funeral.

Kaldani, a member of Jordan’s Council of Priests and Advisory Council, stressed that national unity remains the prevailing foundation of life in the kingdom.

His message focused on confidence in Jordanians’ ability to move beyond the crisis, with unity at the heart of his assessment of the country’s resilience.
