Bahrain Part Ways With Coach Talajic After Gulf Cup Exit

The Bahrain Football Association has ended its contract with national team coach Dragan Talajic by mutual agreement.

The Croatian leaves his role at the helm of Bahrain’s senior side following the team’s unsuccessful defence of the Gulf Cup title.

The decision came five days after Bahrain lost the crown, with their campaign ending in the group stage.

That early elimination brought an end to Bahrain’s hopes of retaining the trophy and was followed by the agreed departure of Talajic.
