Egypt’s Social Solidarity Ministry Begins Briefing on First Medical Cyclotron Unit

Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity has begun a press conference to announce the final arrangements for opening its first medical cyclotron unit.

The conference is being held at the ministry’s headquarters in Agouza.

The briefing focuses on preparations ahead of the unit’s inauguration. An opening date was not provided in the initial announcement.

Medical cyclotrons produce radioactive isotopes used in medicine, including in diagnostic imaging.
