Manal Awad Calls for Preventing Waste Buildup on Streets and in Squares

Minister of Local Development and Environment Manal Awad said waste must not be allowed to accumulate or remain for extended periods on streets and in public squares.

Awad held an expanded meeting at the ministry’s headquarters with representatives of cleaning companies involved in waste management in Cairo and Alexandria.

The meeting brought together the minister and companies working in the two cities to discuss waste management, with her remarks underscoring the need for prompt rubbish removal.
