Israel Bars Green Party Leader Polanski After Zionism Vote

Israel’s Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that Zack Polanski, leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, would be barred from entering Israel.

The announcement followed his party’s approval of a motion describing Zionism as a form of racism.

The entry ban targets Polanski in his capacity as party leader, while the motion was adopted by the party.

The ministry’s announcement linked the decision to the motion. No details were provided on how long the ban would remain in place.
