Luxor Medical Cyclotron Unit to Open October 3 for Cancer Patients

A medical cyclotron unit in Luxor governorate is set to open on October 3 to serve cancer patients, according to Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity.

Ayman Abdel Mawgoud, the ministry’s permanent undersecretary and official spokesperson, described the opening as a new step in civil society’s efforts to protect people.

His remarks placed the project within the broader role of civil society in supporting patients, highlighting the human purpose behind the medical facility.
