Two Iranians Appear in London Court Over Alleged Bomb Plot Against Jewish Targets

Two Iranian nationals appeared before a court in London on Saturday, facing accusations of planning terrorist acts against Jewish targets in northern England.

The alleged plot involved the use of a homemade bomb. The accusations concern preparations for an attack, rather than a bombing reported to have taken place.

The pair are accused of acting under the direction of an individual believed to be based in Iran. That person’s location has not been confirmed in the information provided.

No names or details of the specific targets were given in the summary of the case. The allegations remain subject to court proceedings.
