American University in Cairo Launches African Climate Leadership Programme

The initiative is being carried out in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, bringing together the university and the government ministry.

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation is supporting the programme, which places climate leadership in Africa at the centre of its work.

The launch announcement did not specify the programme’s duration, participant numbers or application process.
