Ain Shams Dentistry Dean: Outstanding Dentists Combine Knowledge, Skill and Compassion

Dr. Karim El-Batouti, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University, has addressed students in a message marking the academic year.

El-Batouti said an outstanding dentist brings together scientific knowledge, practical skill and a compassionate heart, placing care for others alongside professional competence.

He opened his message by addressing the faculty’s students as his sons and daughters, using a warm, personal tone.

His central message highlighted a view of excellence in dentistry that goes beyond technical ability: knowledge and skill must be accompanied by kindness.
