Zelensky Confirms US-Mediated Talks With Russia in November

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Sunday that Ukrainian and Russian representatives will meet in November.

The United States will mediate the meeting, which is intended to help restart peace negotiations between the two sides.

Those negotiations have been stalled since the beginning of the current year, leaving the planned November meeting focused on reviving the process.

Zelensky’s announcement confirms plans for renewed contact, but does not establish whether the meeting will lead to a resumption of formal peace talks.
