Trump Sparks Anger Over Remarks on Possible Iranian Attacks on US Cities

US President Donald Trump stirred controversy on Tuesday after discussing the possibility of an Iranian attack on Los Angeles and San Diego.

Trump described such an outcome as a “small price” for preserving the security of the United States and the wider world.

His remarks placed the two American cities at the center of a broader argument about national and international security, framing a potential attack as a cost weighed against that objective.

The comments triggered a wave of anger, with the controversy centering on his characterization of possible attacks on US cities as an acceptable price for security.
