UAE Forms Prosecution Team to Investigate Flydubai Flight Incident

The UAE’s attorney general has ordered an investigation into an incident involving Flydubai flight FZ1073, which was diverted while travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Attorney General Dr Hamad Al Shamsi directed the formation of a team of specialised public prosecutors to investigate the incident.

The flight landed safely at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia after its route was changed.

The ministry’s statement did not specify the nature of the incident or the reason for the diversion. It also did not provide a timeline for the investigation.
