Tyson Fury Plans to Invite Trump to Lead Ring Walk for Joshua Fight

British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury has announced plans to invite US President Donald Trump to lead his ring walk ahead of his eagerly anticipated bout against fellow Briton Anthony Joshua.

The surprise proposal would put Trump at the front of Fury’s entrance to the arena, adding a political dimension to the spectacle surrounding the heavyweight contest.

Fury’s announcement concerns his intention to extend an invitation. It does not establish that Trump has received one or agreed to take part.

Whether the US president will accept remains an open question, with Fury’s proposed entrance adding another talking point to the buildup to his meeting with Joshua.
