Cairo Governor Says October War Heroes Embodied Egyptians’ Ability to Overcome Challenges

Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber attended a celebration marking the 53rd anniversary of the October War victory at the Rod El Farag Culture Palace.

Saber said the heroes of October embodied Egyptians’ ability to confront challenges, highlighting their example as the occasion was commemorated.

Major General Omar Mahmoud El-Shafei, Cairo’s deputy governor for the northern district, also attended the event.

The celebration brought the governor and his northern district deputy to the cultural venue to honor the anniversary and those whose service it remembers.
