Foreign Languages Are Egypt’s Window to the World, SIS Chairman Tells Graduates

Mastering foreign languages is a strategic tool for strengthening Egypt’s ability to communicate with people around the world, Ambassador Alaa Youssef, chairman of the State Information Service, said at a graduation ceremony for Al-Alsun students.

Addressing the language graduates, Youssef described languages as Egypt’s window to the world, placing them at the heart of communication beyond the country’s borders.

His remarks highlighted the value of foreign-language proficiency not only as an academic achievement, but also as a means of connecting Egypt with international audiences.

The message linked the graduates’ field of study to a broader national purpose: helping Egypt communicate across linguistic boundaries and engage with peoples worldwide.
