Seven Ports and 3,008 Distribution Centres Bolster Egypt’s Cooking Gas Supply Network

Egypt’s cooking gas supply network has been strengthened by seven ports and 3,008 distribution centres, supporting efforts to improve the delivery of petroleum products to citizens.

The network forms part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ broader policy to raise the standard of public services and support fuel distribution.

That policy covers cooking gas, or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as well as petrol and diesel, placing household fuel supplies alongside transport fuels among the ministry’s priorities.

The ports and distribution centres provide infrastructure for the cooking gas supply chain. Their role reflects the ministry’s focus on strengthening the system that delivers essential petroleum products to consumers.
