Egypt’s Statistics Agency Takes Part in OIC Statistical Commission’s 15th Session

Egypt’s Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) is participating in the 15th session of the Statistical Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The agency is headed by Major General Engineer Akram Ahmed El-Gohary. Its participation places Egypt’s official statistics body in the OIC’s forum for statistical cooperation.

The commission provides a framework for member countries to exchange statistical expertise and strengthen cooperation between their national statistical institutions.
