Al Marar Outlines UAE Approach to Regional Crises

The United Arab Emirates is seeking political solutions to crises across the region, Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said.

Al Marar outlined an approach that also prioritises strengthening energy security, trade and supply chains.

His remarks placed the search for political solutions alongside efforts to safeguard economic links, identifying both as areas of focus for the UAE.

On water cooperation, Al Marar said the UAE hopes to secure an action document from the United Nations Water Conference, which it is co-hosting with Senegal.
