Mohieldin Named President of Arab Society for Economic Research

Mohieldin has been named president of the Arab Society for Economic Research, with Al-Wazani as vice president and Al-Arabi as secretary-general.

The leadership appointments came as the society held its 22nd ordinary general assembly meeting, which concluded with the approval of a series of recommendations.

The recommendations aim to strengthen the society’s role and develop its activities, setting priorities for its future work.

Expanding the membership base was among the measures approved, placing broader participation on the society’s agenda alongside the development of its programmes.
