Investment Authority Chief Highlights Role of Accurate Statistics in Better Decisions

Dr Mohamed Awad, chief executive of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, took part in a seminar examining how investment statistics can support more effective investment decisions.

Awad attended on behalf of Dr Mohamed Farid, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade. The seminar was titled “From Investment Statistics to Better Investment Decisions.”

The authority chief highlighted the role of accurate statistics in improving the effectiveness of investment decision-making, placing data quality at the centre of the discussion.

The seminar’s theme linked the collection of investment statistics with their practical use: helping decision-makers assess opportunities and make better-informed choices.
