Trump Says Threats Prompted US Bomber Move From Fairford

US President Donald Trump said Monday that Washington had moved American bombers from Fairford air base in southwest England because of threats targeting the aircraft.

Trump attributed the decision to those threats, without specifying where the bombers had been relocated.

The move followed a security incident near the base that prompted an investigation into possible planning for terrorist acts.

The nature of the incident and the threats was not detailed in the account. The investigation concerns suspected planning, with no confirmed findings provided.
